It's a bit late, but Happy New Year! Today's post is about a small update to the site and a bit about what's happening around here.
Anyway, something that's been bothering me for a while is that the site doesn't have any kind of breadcrumb. That is, a way of telling where you are in the site's hierarchy. In fact, not having a breadcrumb seems to be a common thing on modern websites. But I like to know where I am on a site. So, I've added a breadcrumb to the site, if you look above, you'll see "Site / Blog / Where Am I?'.
I've also gone and replaced some of the <div>s in the code with their "semantic" HTML5 equivalents e.g. <header>, <nav>, <main> and <footer>. Apparently it makes a small difference to SEO, but every little helps.
Over the next couple of months I plan to finish my Crash Bandicoot 1 N. Sane Trilogy Playthrough. Few more episodes should be out over the next few days, and I intend to continue with that as much as possible until it's finished.
After that I have a plan for a small web project which you can use to create fun content you can put on your own website to entertain your visitors. I've already made a start on it, but I'm going to postpone it until I've completed the Crash playthrough. Because I should probably concentrate on one project at a time xD.
